You will love our private hot tub after a long day on the slopes or exploring Lake Tahoe! Our hot tub is serviced between every guest, so it will be clean, hot and ready for your stay.
Our full kitchen is equipped with everything you should need for dinners in the cabin. We have stove & oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, Keurig & drip coffee machines and fully stocked cooking and serving ware. Need something specific? Just ask!
Our Upstairs loft area is both a sleeping area and a second hang out spot. There are 4 beds (3 twin & one full) and the couch folds down into a queen size sleeper futon. There is also a tv in the loft. It is an open loft area (half walls only).
There are two bedrooms downstairs. Both have king size beds and cozy linens. There are nightstands and reading lights on both sides of the bed. There is also a closet and dresser for storage. The bedrooms also have baseboard heaters for added coziness.
Our outdoor deck area is one of the highlights of the cabin! We have a private hot tub for your use that is serviced between each guest. In the summertime, we will have dining and lounge seating for our guests. You'll love relaxing in the pines!
Our "Baby" cabin is a classic A frame structure with a covered front walkway and large deck. It's nestled into the pines in Carnelian Bay/ Agate Bay North Lake Tahoe.
Our kitchen has lots of storage and all of the kitchen appliances you should need for meals at home. We also fully stock it with cooking and serving ware so you really should only need to bring the food! Ask if you have something specific that you need.
We have a large center island which also serves as seating for 7. In the summertime we have dining seating setup outside on our deck as well.
We love our "Baby" Cabin. My mom, is also an artist, so you will see personal artistic touches from her as well as all of us throughout the cabin. We have put our love into making this cabin feel homey for our family and hope it will be for you as well!

There are lots of personal and artistic touches throughout our "Baby" cabin. We even wrapped the refrigerator with a stylized mountain scene from the Lake Tahoe!
Our large deck area has plenty of seating to relax in the pines in the summertime! In the winter, the seating will be put away because we usually get a LOT of snow. But you'll still be able to enjoy the hot tub!
Our red front door will welcome you into our "Baby" cabin. The covered front walkway is also a really great thing to have in the winter when the snow starts piling up.
We have large, cozy couches in our living area and a gas stove heater in the corner. We also have some board games and a tv for cozy nights in the "Baby" cabin.
We have cable television in the main living area as well as in the master bedroom and upstairs loft area. We also have wifi with high speed internet. We also stock some reading materials and board games for your enjoyment.
This is the view from the front door looking in. You can see our open concept first floor living space that connects the living room to dining area and full kitchen. We have everything you should need for your group to enjoy Lake Tahoe!
Our gas stove fireplace heats up the entire cabin. It creates a cozy atmosphere while acting as the main heat source. You also won't need wood to enjoy the fire:-).
The master bedroom has a king size bed that is very comfortable, adorned with cozy linens It also has reading lights on both sides and room darkening shades so you should be able to sleep soundly in this mountain retreat.
This bedroom is on the 1st floor and has a king size bed, night stands with reading lights on both sides, a closet, Tv with cable, small desk and baseboard heaters. There is mattress topper on this bed making it SUPER comfy.
This bedroom is one of two bedrooms on the first floor of the cabin. It has a king size bed, two nights stands with reading lights, room darkening shades with curtains, baseboard heating, a closet and dresser.
You may want to stay in bed reading on our king size bed in the 2nd downstairs bedroom of our cabin in North Lake Tahoe.
Our cozy 2nd downstairs bedroom has a king size bed and a cozy mountain theme. There is a ceiling fan for those warm summer months and baseboard heaters for added warmth in the winter.

The second downstairs bedroom has a small dresser, luggage rack/bench and closet for storage.
Our "Baby" Cabin in Lake Tahoe has Tahoe/mountain decor and many personal touches added throughout the many years our family has enjoyed it.
There are two full bathrooms in our cabin in North Lake Tahoe. This one is downstairs and has a bathtub/shower combo, It will have towels and linens for your use as well as basic toiletries.

The downstairs bathroom is a full bathroom with Lake Tahoe themed styling. It has a bathtub/shower combo and will be stocked with towels, hair dryer and basic toiletries for your use.
Our upstairs loft area is a great place for your group to spread out. There are four beds and a seating area with tv, so it can be a second living spot as well as a sleeping area for a larger group. It's a great place to let the kids hang out!
The upstairs loft area has 4 beds, a couch that folds into a futon bed and a couple bean bag chairs for the kids. It also has a tv with cable, a mountain scene that is also chalk board and cozy mountain vibes.

The upstairs loft area is not fully enclosed, so be aware that there isn't a full wall with door that separates it from downstairs. It does have plenty of sleeping space, it's own full bathroom and a separate hang out spot, perfect for kids.
The upstairs loft area has it's own full bathroom with bathtub/shower combo. It will be stocked with towels, hair dryer and basic toiletries as well.
The covered area over the front area of the cabin wraps around to the large deck area. You'll appreciate this covered area overhead when the snow starts piling up!
There is a short, dirt pathway from our driveway to the front door. There are a couple steps up to the front door and one step up if you enter from the back end of the covered pathway to the door.

This is where you will park in our driveway. You can see the short dirt pathway to the front door or back entrance to the covered walkway. Our driveway fits 2 cars but it may be tight in the winter if your cars are large.
We have a BBQ for your use. Please note, it may not be accessible in the winter months.
You will feel like you are hidden away in the woods as our cabin in North Lake Tahoe is surrounded by pines.
Relaxing on our hot tub is one of the best parts of our "Baby" Cabin in the pines in North Lake Tahoe.
You can relax among the pine tress in our hot tub that is available year round. It is serviced between every guest so it will be ready and warm for your arrival.
Our large deck area has plenty of seating for your group to relax outside in North Lake Tahoe during the warmer months. In the colder months, the seating may be put away but you can still enjoy the hot tub!

OUR CABIN IS IN A VERY QUIET NEIGHBORHOOD. LOUD NOISE AND PARTYING IS NOT APPROPRIATE FOR THIS CABIN. WE LOVE HOSTING ALL GUESTS BUT IF YOU THINK TH

This charming, clean and nicely decorated cabin (we call 'the baby') is adorable. It is a great family oriented cabin in the very wooded but friendly area of Agate Bay or Carnelian Bay. This area is "North Lake Tahoe". Right in between Kings Beach and Tahoe City, but closer to Kings Beach. It's a great centralized location, close to the lake, away from the crowds but very close to the action in Kings Beach and Tahoe City as well. The closest ski resort is North Star (about 15 minutes drive), however Palisades Tahoe (formerly Squaw Valley & Alpine Meadows) is not much further away (about 20 minutes drive) away. Other nearby ski resorts include Diamond Peak(about 20 minute drive), Mt. Rose (about 30 minute drive). The ski resorts around Donner Pass (Boreal, Sugar Bowl & Tahoe Donner, Donner Ski Ranch, Soda Springs) are 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Then the south shore resorts (Heavenly & Kirkwood are an hour or more away). If you don't already know, Tahoe has a lot of ski resorts to choose from and Carnelian Bay is the perfect spot to explore as many as you'd like!

It has a freshly redesigned & renovated, fully equipped kitchen, newly renovated bathrooms & bedrooms, & a completely redecorated loft sleeping area with new linens and a cozy sitting\play area for the kids (and those young at heart). The icing on the cake is the large deck with your own hot tub, great for warming up in the winter and lounging in the summer.

We are very close to one of the Tahoe Rim trail entrances. A beautiful view once you reach the top. An hour hike for all ages. It is also fun to walk to breakfast to the old Carnelian Bay Post Office converted to a wonderful old world cafe.

In the winter months the woods are covered with snow and the cabin is warm and cozy. Ski lifts near by are North Star, great for family.

Diamond Peak which is a bit smaller (and sort of a secret to the tourists) is close, and is a lot of fun with three very long runs. Mt. Rose is to the east a bit further.

It is also close to Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley but the above are a bit less of a drive. The cabin is on a slope so tobogganing is right outside the door.

Then back to the cabin for a hot, relaxing Jacuzzi on the deck.

You will love your stay in 'The Baby' as it has brought many wonderful memories to our family and friends and many return renters.

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 1 day prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 1 day prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.

Our family has made many memories in the "Baby' cabin. Lake Tahoe has been our home away from home since I was a little girl. It's our family's favorite place in the world and we hope to share our love for the area with you as well.
